Peace First is devoted to teaching kids the skills of peacemaking—to resolve conflicts, communicate effectively and form positive relationships. This year, for the first time, they are establishing a Peace First Prize to recognize and reward kids and young adults ages 8 to 22 living in the U.S. who are positive change-makers.

Do you know any young people who are starting clubs to end bullying, running school- wide recycling programs, mobilizing volunteers to tutor at-risk kids, or helping to transform and beautify their world in some other way?

Nominate them and they could win a $50,000 Peace First Fellowship!

The Peace First Prize

Applications close on April 12th. Following a rigorous search and selection process, 5 recipients of the Peace First Prize will each receive a $50,000 Peace First Fellowship, over two years, to invest in their work. Winners will be announced in the fall of 2013.
