Eating right isn't just a matter of consistently making better choices for meals and snacks. In fact, I'd argue that it starts before that, with the food you buy. If your fridge and pantry are well-stocked, you're automatically ahead of the game. Remember the dairy aisle for nonfat milk (I'm a huge fan of Lactaid's fat-free option because it tastes unbelievably rich) for cereal and smoothies. Grab yogurt (the Rebuccis love the creamy consistency of Chobani Greek yogurt for snacks and desserts) and reduced-fat cheese for snacking. Strive for two to three servings of dairy a day to meet your calcium requirement.
