Cue the elves. It's time to set the scene with fanciful Christmas stockings, ornaments, and more.

Kick off the holidays by hanging stockings adorned with an exuberant mix of stripes, snowflakes, and spots.
Here's how: Using stocking template, cut out the front and back. For contrasting color trim, cut a 1/2-inch-wide strip long enough to go around the outside of the stocking. Glue strip to one of the pieces, letting it extend past the edge. Decorate the stocking front as desired (see next slides for further instructions). Glue the back of the stocking to the front. Cut along the trim with pinking shears. To hang, cut a small strip of felt and glue inside the stocking.
