Is it too early to start thinking about Valentine’s Day? I’m never really sure anymore. But holidays have been on my mind, ever since my Kindergartener came home with his report card last week and one minus sign in the Social Studies category. That minus sign? Able to identify customs that accompany national holidays.
This is my fault. There are holiday crafts happening in my house year round, at odd times, sometimes more than one at a time. Easter eggs during the Christmas holidays, Halloween during Easter, Christmas during Fourth of July, sometimes Christmas and Valentine’s at the same time…it’s gotten so bad my son usually asks if it’s a holiday for real or a holiday for pretend. So I’m going to try a little harder to join the rest of the country in the holiday timeline. You know, so my son doesn’t end up giving out Christmas cards in February.
To that end, I’ve tapped into the creativity of a number of talented folks who’ve prepared free printables to celebrate the coming holiday. Use them as is or let them serve as a launching pad for your own creativity.
Restrained and elegant, Jenny from Everyday Occasions offers two gift tags and ideas for both.
