Grannie's Old-Fashioned Butterscotch Bars

packed light-brown sugar
butter rum extract
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- Melt butter in a medium-size saucepan. Add sugar, eggs and flour to saucepan and mix until well blended. Stir in butter rum extract and pecans.
- Pour into prepared baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
- Cool completely on a wire rack and dust with confectioners sugar. Cut into 24 squares and serve.
