Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings (about 12)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 3 scallions, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees . Line a large shallow baking pan with nonstick foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.
  3. Place wings on prepared baking pan and roast at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Brush with half the honey-sesame mixture and roast an additional 10 minutes. Brush with remaining sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds; roast 5 minutes. If desired, broil 1 to 2 minutes to crisp skin.
  4. Garnish with chopped scallions. Serve with Sweet and Spicy Coleslaw, if desired.
