Ingredients

Shop Kitchen ▾
  • 1 1/2 pounds hanger steak
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 cups hearts of romaine, cut into 1/4-inch strips and tightly packed
  • 3 medium red bell peppers, diced
  • 2 medium cucumbers, diced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cored and diced
  • 1 large red onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup Greek olives, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs (parsley, mint, dill)
  • 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinaigrette, plus more for serving

Directions

  1. Heat grill to high. Pat steak dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, and grill over high heat to desired doneness, turning once, about 12 minutes for medium-rare. Transfer to a cutting board and rest at least 8 minutes. Slice steak on the diagonal into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  2. In a large bowl, add romaine and next 7 ingredients and toss. Add vinaigrette and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Divide salad among 6 plates, arrange steak slices on top and drizzle with additional vinaigrette.
