(16 ounces) frozen peas
small onion, peeled and finely chopped
shredded cheddar or a mix of cheeses
grated Parmesan cheese
- Place the peas in a colander and run under cold water until just thawed but still cold. Allow to drain and place in a large bowl. Stir in the mayonnaise (add more or less according to taste).
- Add the chopped onion, black pepper and cheeses. Mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
