The billion-dollar businesswoman shares her secret ingredient for a successful summer.

Actress, eco-entrepreneur, wife, mom and all around nice person—it’s safe to say that Jessica Alba’s a busy woman. Aside from a trip to Disney World (she’s never been!) with husband Cash Warren and daughters Honor, 7, and Haven, 3, to check out Harry Potter World, her summer bucket list also includes fun family meals, barbecues and time spent outdoors. Considering her current partnership with ZICO, it should come as no surprise that she has a few coconut water hacks to share with us for our own picnics and parties. Who knew the trendy beverage was so versatile?

1.     Create coconut water salad dressing. Alba mixes a blend of lime juice, olive oil, coconut water and salt and pepper to dress carrot-and-avocado salad for her daughters. “The biggest thing is introducing kids to fresh produce and more healthy things early in life,” she says. “My girls love the coconut water dressing, and they know they’re not allowed to have dessert unless they eat all their veggies. And as long as they don't have a bad attitude.”

2.     Coconut water is a bloom booster. If the buds in your party floral arrangements are closed, add a little natural coconut water to vessels, and the natural sugars will open them up a bit. Don’t have enough vases for your dining area? Cut the tops off ZICO bottles, and scatter informal arrangements down a long table.

3.     Serve chilled soup for summer. The last thing most of us want to do is fire up a hot stove or oven, so Jessica loves (and worked with ZICO to develop) a no-cook Tomato and Watermelon Gazpacho recipe that you can make in a blender. It’s another great way to sneak fruits and veggies into your kids’ diet.
