Thank your child's teacher with these cards.

By Jonna Gallo

As a mom of two school-age kids and a PTA president, I have Teacher Appreciation Week on my radar. It starts May 2 and runs through May 6, with Teacher Appreciation Day on the 3rd. As a big believer in handwritten notes and an avowed collector of personalized stationery (seriously, it's like a borderline obsession), I often shop at Tiny Prints for cards with my name or monogram. The site offers tons of fun, fresh designs and great coupons if you join the mailing list. Right now through April 19, Tiny Prints has a great promotion where you can order five cards personalized with your kid's name for free! A bunch of appealing designs qualify for the offer—Playful Fox, Fetching Flags and Starry Midnight especially caught my eye—and there are a couple of color-in options too (Color Me Grateful and Grateful Robot). Better yet, if you Instagram pictures of kids' written thank-you cards to #TinyThanks, Tiny Prints will donate $5 for every post (up to $10,000) to TNTP (, a Brooklyn, NY–based national nonprofit founded by teachers that partners with educators to bring about positive change in public education. Talk about a win-win. Just go to to order. Write on!
