Beetle and Spider Pumpkin

Download and print or buy a pattern of the insects of your choosing, and tape onto the pumpkin where you want the design. Then, carefully dab with black paint and a sponge brush, and let dry. Remove the pattern only once it is completely dry to avoid smearing.

Spiderweb Pumpkin

With a sharpie, draw small, irregular circles in the places on your pumpkin where you want webs to center. Draw straight lines out form the circles, stopping where they meet with other webs. Then, connect those lines with each other with little, irregular lines that will form the iconic spiderweb shape.
