Jalapeno Cheese Spread

  1. 1 of 4 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Fold 6-inch piece of aluminum foil in half; fold edges up to make a tray. Place nuts, chili powder and cumin in tray; place on baking sheet.
  2. 2 of 4 Bake nut mixture in 350 degree F oven for 6 minutes or until fragrant and begins to darken. Let cool.
  3. 3 of 4 Chop green onion in food processor. Add jalapeno and nut mixture. Whirl until nuts are chopped. Add the cream cheese, goat cheese and lemon juice. Whirl until blended.
  4. 4 of 4 Scrape spread into serving bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 24 hours. Makes 1-1/4 cups (20 one-tablespoon servings).
