  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Coat with nonstick cooking spray and crumble in ground beef. Cook 4 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.

  • Stir in lentils, sweet pepper, garlic, tomato sauce, hoisin, terikayi, vinegar, sugar, ginger and chili paste. Simmer, uncovered, for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Spoon about 2/3 cup beef and lentil mixture into each roll and sprinkle with scallions.

Tips

Change up family favorites by serving hamburgers on whole wheat buns and adding lentils to meatloaf and sloppy Joes.
