Cakey Pineapple Bars

  1. 1 of 4 Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 13 x 9 x 2-inch nonstick baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. 2 of 4 In a large bowl, stir together flour, 2 cups of the confectioners sugar, the eggs, pineapple with syrup, baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt until combined; stir for 2 minutes. Spoon batter into prepared pan.
  3. 3 of 4 Bake in 350 degrees F oven 30 to 40 minutes or until top is lightly browned and springs back when lightly touched. Let cake cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  4. 4 of 4 Cut cake into 16 bars. In small bowl, stir together remaining 1/2 cup confectioners sugar with 2 teaspoons water until smooth. Drizzle over bars. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to set before serving.
