Garlic-Herb Biscuits

  1. 1 of 4 Drizzle whole head of garlic with olive oil, and rub some into papery skin. Place in a microwave-safe dish and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes to soften.
  2. 2 of 4 Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, minced onion and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. 3 of 4 Uncover garlic and slice off top. Squeeze cloves from skin. Chop with thyme leaves, then whisk into dry ingredients in bowl. Stir in milk and drop batter in 1/2-cupfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet for a total of 9 biscuits.
  4. 4 of 4 Bake biscuits at 425 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned. Remove to wire rack and cool slightly before serving.
