  1. 1 of 4 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease baking sheet.
  2. 2 of 4 Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in green onion.
  3. 3 of 4 Combine pepper seasoning and milk. Make well in center of flour mixture. Pour about 2/ 3 cup of milk into well. Stir flour mixture and milk just until dough comes together. If too dry, add remaining milk. Knead dough on lightly floured work surface 1 minute. Pat into 1-inch-thick round. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. 4 of 4 Bake in 375 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes until lightly browned. Cool briefly on a wire rack. Cut into 8 equal wedges.
