Bucatini with Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
- 1 of 4 In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove bacon and reserve. Add Brussels sprouts to drippings in skillet; cook, covered, over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Add garlic, red pepper flakes and salt; cook 1 minute.
- 2 of 4 Meanwhile, cook pasta following package directions, about 10 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water.
- 3 of 4 In a large serving bowl, toss pasta with butter. Add Brussels sprouts and drippings from skillet. Stir in Parmesan, parsley, reserved bacon and reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce.
- 4 of 4 Serve immediately. If using, drizzle chili oil over each portion.
