  1. 1 of 4 Heat oven to 400 degrees . Combine honey and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  2. 2 of 4 In a small bowl, combine flour, 3/4 tsp of the salt and the black pepper. In a second bowl, beat egg. In a third bowl, combine cornflake crumbs and remaining 1/4 tsp salt. Dredge chicken in flour, then egg and finally cornflakes.
  3. 3 of 4 Heat butter and oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3 minutes per side, until golden. Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, until cooked through.
  4. 4 of 4 Place chicken on toasted waffles. Drizzle with spicy honey and serve with broccoli slaw, if using.
