Apple Chicken Legs
- 1 of 3 Stir together apple juice concentrate, cider vinegar, cayenne, cinnamon and salt in nonmetallic bowl or heavy-duty sealable plastic food-storage bag. Add chicken legs and toss to coat. Cover or seal bag and refrigerate to marinate for 1 hour.
- 2 of 3 Lightly brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Then prepare grill with low-heat coals, or heat gas grill.*
- 3 of 3 Remove chicken from marinade. Grill, uncovered, for 5 minutes on each side, coating with more marinade. Cover grill; cook 5 minutes per side, coating with marinade. Uncover and continue grilling, turning every 5 minutes, until instant-read thermometer stuck into thickest part of thigh registers 170 degrees F, about 10 to 15 minutes more. Do not continue basting during last period of cooking unless you boil marinade at least 3 minutes first.
