  1. 1 of 1 Heat extra-virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced red onion; saute 2 minutes. Stir in chopped collard greens and 1/3 cup water. Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in chopped pecans, cider vinegar, salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
