Mocha Drops

  1. 1 of 4 Prepare Butter Scotch Dough (from Butterscotch Sandwiches on with these changes: Add unsweetened cocoa powder to flour mixture.
  2. 2 of 4 In small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in warm water. Add to butter mixture.
  3. 3 of 4 Coat baking sheets with nonstick spray. Spread oats on waxed paper. Roll 1 tablespoon dough into ball; roll in oats. Place on baking sheet. Repeat process, spacing balls 1 inch apart.
  4. 4 of 4 Bake in 350 degree F oven 13 to 14 minutes, until firm and slightly cracked on top. Transfer to racks to cool. Store airtight at room temperature 1 week. Makes about 3-1/4 dozen cookies.
