Cupcakes

  • Heat oven to 350°. In a bowl, whisk first 5 ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar for 3 minutes, until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until combined. Beat in half the flour mixture, then the buttermilk and half the flour mixture. Fold in chopped Nestlé Crunch bars.

  • Place paper liners in a standard 12-cup muffin pan. Divide batter among cups. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center of a cupcake comes out clean. Remove cupcakes to a wire rack and cool completely.

Ganache Frosting

  • Heat heavy cream in a small pot until barely simmering. Pour over chocolate in bowl of a stand mixer; stir until smooth. Cool 5 minutes. Beat with whisk attachment on high for 10 minutes, until fluffy. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

  • Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes, starting on the outside, in a circular pattern. Scatter cereal over cupcakes.
