Easy Poached Pears

Makes 6



  1. 1 of 2 Melt butter in medium-size skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon and maple syrup. Add pear halves and juice from 1 can. Cook 8 minutes.
  2. 2 of 2 Stir together cornstarch and water in small bowl until smooth; stir into pear mixture. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened and clear, 3 to 4 minutes. Serve over ice cream or pound cake. Makes 6 servings.
