  • Melt butter in turkey roasting pan over med-high. Whisk in pan drippings, scraping up brown bits from bottom of pan.

  • In large measuring cup, whisk flour into stock. While whisking, add in a thin stream to roasting pan. Cook 4 min, whisking, until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Make it Gluten-Free

  • Replace the AP flour with 3 tbsp cornstarch. Check the label on the turkey or chicken stock to make sure it’s GF.

Make it Vegan

  • In a clean saucepan, heat 2 tbsp EVOO over med-high. Whisk 1/4 cup AP flour into 3 1/2 cups vegetable broth and whisk into saucepan. Cook 4 min or until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
