Make one big batch, then split it in half. The kids get the "basic" version.



Adult Version


  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add farfalle and cook per pkg directions, about 11 min.

  • Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium. Slice garlic and add to skillet; cook 6 min. Stir in ham and peas; cook 3 min or until heated through.

  • Drain farfalle and return to pot. Add skillet contents, pepper and salt. Stir until combined, then divide in half.

Adult Version

  • Cook leek in oil for 4 min. Stir in pepper and heat through. Add to half the pasta. Serve both with grated Parmesan.
