  1. 1 of 3 Heat oven to 375 degrees . Place piecrust on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into an 8-inch square. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  2. 2 of 3 Place an apple in center of each dough square. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar, then dot with butter. Fold edges over apples and pinch closed. Place in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar over dumplings. Bake 45 minutes, until browned.
  3. 3 of 3 Cool slightly, then serve in a bowl with warm caramel sauce and whipped cream.
