• Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Stir together flour, almonds and salt in a small bowl.

  • Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla and almond extract in medium-size bowl until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.

  • Stir in flour mixture. Add up to 1 tbsp water if dough is too crumbly and not sticking together.

  • Divide the dough into 2 equal balls. Wrap in plastic and press down to form 2 even-sized discs. Refrigerate.

  • Remove dough from refrigerator and roll each disc to 1/2-inch thickness. Use a fluted pastry roller to cut into “fries.” Re-roll scraps to cut more fries. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool.
