• Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta, return to a boil and cook 6 minutes. During last 3 minutes, add green beans. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

  • Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots, garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 1 minute. Add shrimp. Cook 1 minute, flip and cook 1 minute more. Stir in parsley.

  • Transfer to a large bowl. Toss with pasta, reserved pasta water and salt.
