Green Beans, Hazelnuts and Shallots
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boiling. Add beans, return to a boil and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until crisp-tender. Remove to a bowl filled with ice water to cool. Drain and set aside.Advertisement
In a sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and hazelnuts; cook 3 to 4 minutes until shallots are softened. Stir in cooked beans, salt and pepper. Stir until beans are warmed through.
