  • Slice angel food cake in half horizontally. Pour half the syrup from frozen cherries on top of the bottom half.

  • Scoop one pint of vanilla-fudge ice cream onto cut cake. Top with remaining cake-half.

  • Spoon on the cherries and remaining syrup. Drizzle with chocolate sauce, if desired. Slice with a serrated knife, then serve immediately.
