Molasses-Glazed Grilled Spare Ribs
- 1 of 4 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ribs and gently simmer 1 hour.
- 2 of 4 Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, whisk remaining ingredients except cilantro. Bring to a boil over medium-high, then reduce to a low simmer. Cook until glaze is thickened and reduced to 1 cup, 45 to 50 minutes.
- 3 of 4 Heat a gas grill to medium-high or the coals in a charcoal grill to medium-hot.
- 4 of 4 Drain and transfer ribs to a large cutting board. Generously brush with glaze. Grill 5 minutes per side, brushing with more glaze as needed, until ribs are nicely browned. Sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with remaining glaze on the side.
