  1. 1 of 1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Break lasagna noodles into thirds and add to boiling water. Cook until al dente, 8 minutes; drain. Meanwhile, heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and brown, breaking apart with a wooden spoon, 5 minutes. Drain off liquid. Stir minced garlic and marinara sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper into skillet. Simmer 3 minutes. In a bowl, stir ricotta, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan, fresh basil leaves, chopped, and 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper. Microwave 1 minute until slightly heated. Stir noodles into skillet with meat mixture. Cook 2 minutes. To serve, spoon 2/3 cup noodle mixture into a bowl, top with about 1/4 cup ricotta mixture and another 2/3 cup noodle mixture. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
