  1. 1 of 1 Make Basic Sugar Cookie Dough; do not refrigerate. Beat in 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 1/3 cup crushed candy canes (4) or starlight mints (9). Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes per batch. Cool completely. Once cool, microwave 1 cup bright white candy melting discs at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to microwave in 30-second increments and stir until smooth. Dip half of each cooled cookie in melted candy. Cool to harden candy.
