  1. 1 of 3 Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add macaroni, return to a boil and cook 6 minutes. Drain.
  2. 2 of 3 Meanwhile, in a large pot, melt 3 tbsp of the butter. Add garlic and 1 tsp of the paprika; cook 1 minute. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute. Whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, until thickened. Stir in cheddar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in cooked macaroni, pimientos, jalapenos and salt. Transfer mixture to a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. 3 of 3 In a small skillet, melt remaining 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Stir in remaining 1/4 tsp paprika and the bread crumbs; cook 1 minute. Scatter over macaroni. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden.
