  1. 1 of 4 Coat a 10-inch saute pan with nonstick spray. Pierce sausages with a fork. Cook, turning frequently, over medium-high heat 10 minutes or until browned.
  2. 2 of 4 While sausage cooks, bring milk and salt to a boil in a medium-size saucepan. In a continuous stream, whisk polenta into boiling milk. Cook, whisking for 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and butter. Pour onto serving platter, spreading evenly.
  3. 3 of 4 Remove sausages to a cutting board. Add pepper strips, tomatoes and Italian seasoning to skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Slice sausages on the diagonal into bite-size pieces.
  4. 4 of 4 Return sausage to pan. Partially cover; cook 5 minutes. Pour sausage and pepper mixture over polenta and serve warm.
