  1. 1 of 1 Toast almonds in a skillet over medium-low for 4 minutes, tossing occasionally, until golden. Transfer to a plate. Add tomato paste, oil and garlic to skillet; cook 3 minutes. In a blender, process peppers, almonds, tomato mixture, vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper flakes until smooth.
