Moo Shu Beef
Turn the popular Chinese dish into a 30-minute meal by using ground beef and packaged coleslaw mix in the filling. Flour tortillas make a handy substitute for the traditional pancakes.

  1. 1 of 4 In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Crumble in ground round steak; saute until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2 of 4 Add garlic, coleslaw mix and carrot; cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened, 8 minutes.
  3. 3 of 4 Stir in ketchup, soy sauce, water and red-pepper flakes; simmer 2 minutes. Remove skillet from heat. Stir in scallions.
  4. 4 of 4 Gently heat the flour tortillas following package directions. To serve, divide filling among tortillas and roll up. Makes 8 servings.
