Shrimp and Sausage Fajitas
For Seasoning Mix, combine chili powder, cornstarch, onion salt, garlic powder, pepper, oregano and cumin.Advertisement
In plastic food-storage bag, combine shrimp, chorizo, 1 tablespoon seasoning mix, lime juice and 1 tablespoon oil; seal. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
In large nonstick skillet, heat remaining oil over high heat. Add peppers and onion; sauté 5 minutes.
Warm tortillas following package directions.
Add shrimp mixture to skillet; cook 1 minute. Add remaining seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Bring to simmering; cook until shrimp are cooked through, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately with warm tortillas and accompaniments, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
