• Coat five 3 1/2-inch egg rings with cooking spray and a large rimmed baking sheet with butter. Place rings on pan. Put pan in oven and heat oven to 350 degrees (the hot rings and pan help the eggs set).

  • Remove pan from oven, crack 1 egg into each ring and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add 5 split English muffins to pan; bake 10 min, adding 1 slice cheddar to 5 of the muffin halves for last 3 min of baking time. Quick tip: Don't have egg rings? Use a well-greased muffin tin.
