  1. 1 of 4 Heat broiler to high. Heat 2 tsp of the oil in a medium lidded pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook 5 minutes, until softened.
  2. 2 of 4 Stir in 2 1/2 cups water and the wheat berries and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15 to 17 minutes.
  3. 3 of 4 Meanwhile, brush salmon with remaining 1 tsp oil. In a small bowl, combine ancho chile powder, cumin and 1/4 tsp of the salt. Sprinkle over salmon and transfer to a baking sheet or broiler pan. Broil 6 minutes, until cooked through.
  4. 4 of 4 Drain wheat berries and place in a large bowl. Stir in remaining 1/4 tsp salt, the black beans and cilantro. Grate zest from one of the limes; juice same lime. Cut remaining lime into wedges. Add 1 tsp of the lime zest and 2 tbsp of the lime juice to wheat berry mixture. Spoon onto plates and top each with a piece of salmon. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
