• Heat grill to medium-high. In a small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients, 2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Rub into pork chops and let stand 10 minutes. Coat nectarines with oil, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper.

  • Put pork chops and nectarines on grill and cook on both sides until chops are faintly pink in center, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer chops to a platter and rest 5 minutes. Move nectarines to coolest part of grill and cover with lid until chops are ready. Serve pork chops with nectarines and corn on the cob on the side.


For the same char on your chops, but done indoors, use a cast-iron skillet on your stovetop.
