  1. 1 of 1 Slice leek and cook in butter 5 minutes. Cut potatoes into 1/8-inch slices. In a 2-quart baking dish, layer one-third of the sweet potatoes, half the leek slices, 2 oz Taleggio, 2 tsp chopped fresh sage and 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme. Repeat layering. Top with remaining third of the potatoes and Taleggio. In a small saucepan, combine cream, salt, garlic powder and pepper; bring to a simmer. Pour over potatoes and down sides of baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees , covered, for 45 minutes, then uncovered for 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
