Turkey Pizza Burgers
- 1 of 1 Heat gas grill to medium-high or prepare charcoal grill with medium-hot coals and set up one side for indirect grilling. Lightly coat grill rack with oil or nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix 1 1/3 lbs lean ground turkey, 3 tbsp jarred marinara sauce, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp garlic salt and 1/2 tsp onion salt. Form into 6 equal patties. Grill 4 minutes per side or until temperature reaches 160 degrees . Turn off grill. Top each burger with 1 tbsp marinara sauce, 1 tbsp reduced-fat mozzarella and 2 basil leaves. Close grill and wait 5 minutes, until cheese melts. If using charcoal, place burgers over indirect heat. Serve on hamburger buns or hard rolls.
