Basic Rice Pilaf With Variations

  1. 1 of 2 Saute onion in oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until softened but not browned, about 3 minutes.
  2. 2 of 2 Add rice; stir until well coated, about 1 minute. Add beef broth mixture; bring to boiling. Lower heat; simmer, covered, 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in parsley.
