Ziti with Swiss Chard and Walnuts
Cook ziti following pkg directions. Drain and reserve 1 cup cooking water. Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high; add garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in chard and 1/4 tsp salt and pepper; cook 8 minutes, until tender. Toss pasta with chard, walnuts, Parmesan, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp salt and enough cooking water to create a sauce. To change up the flavor, switch broccoli rabe for chard and diced smoked mozzarella for ricotta.
