"A recent study showed that 80% of all signs of skin aging are from the environment, including pollution, UVA/UVB rays and more," says Engelman. Look for a sunscreen that forms an invisible protective barrier over skin to help prevent harmful toxins and pollution particles from penetrating.

Use a gentle physical exfoliator with salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.

Swipe on a toner containing witch hazel to remove excess oil from the skin.

Add retinol to your routine without a trip to the doctor. This powerhouse ingredient has both anti-aging and acne-fighting properties, due to its anti-inflammatory nature.
