Makeup: Swipe a neutral metallic shadow all over lids. Dab a sparkly shadow in a similar tone on inner and outer corners of eyes to make them pop. Use a chocolate-brown eyeliner along upper and lower lash lines and finish with mascara. Keep the rest of the face glowy with cream blush, pearlescent highlighter and tinted lip balm.

Nails: Try rose gold instead of the expected gold and silver. We love Morgan Taylor Lacquer in No Way Rosé,, $9.50.

Get the look: Maybelline New York The City Mini Eyeshadow Palette in Rooftop Bronzes,, $10. L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Last Water-proof Pencil Eyeliner,, $9.

Makeup: Step out of your comfort zone with a metallic jewel tone, shown here in purple. Apply a shimmery amethyst shadow all over lid, then dab a lighter glittery shade in center for dimension. Add black mascara. A peachy coral blush and opalescent lipgloss are the finishing touches.

Nails: Up your mani game with a linear design. Apply two coats of black polish, then one coat of Essie Nail Polish in Aruba Blue (, $9). Apply topcoat. Swipe a gold shade, like Zoya Nail Polish in Astrid (, $10) diagonally across nail tips, doing each hand in the opposite direction. Finish with topcoat.

Get the look: Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Vivid Amethyst Shimmer (darker shade) and Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Gypsy (sparkly shade),, $24 each.
